Saturday, 24th October, IGI Member Gerry Stanley will lead a field trip to Avoca on "Geology, Mining and the Environment"
Meet: 10.00am at the former Mine Office on the R752, GR 319842E, 181769N (approx. 1.5km south of the Meeting of the Waters)

On Friday 6th. November there is a trip to Boliden Tara Mines lead by another IGI Member, John Ashton. Booking essential, limited numbers.
